Bruck case: Two hearings in two separate lawsuits against Motti & Deborah Gruzman

Motti & Debby Gruzman with Hollern Hotel in the Background

Two court hearings will soon take place regarding two lawsuits filed by investors in the Hollern Hotel in Bruck, Austria. The Gruzmans did not pay the mortgage on the hotel, which was foreclosed and sold. The Gruzmans are being sued for a total of 9.6 million shekels in both lawsuits combined.

As we previously reported, Motti and Deborah Gruzman are being sued for embezzling investors' funds that were invested in the Hollern Hotel in Bruck, Austria.
The investors purchased apartments in the Hollern Hotel as early as February 2017, near Zell am See in the Salzburg district. According to them, Gruzman misled them for a period until it became clear that he had not even started renovating the hotel. Moreover, he lost the property, which was seized by an Austrian bank due to mortgage payment arrears.

As mentioned, two groups of investors have separately filed lawsuits in the Tel Aviv District Court. After multiple delay attempts by the Gruzmans, pre-trial hearing dates have been set:

  • In case 35004-02-24, Yakar et al. vs. Motti Gruzman et al., the hearing is scheduled for March 5, 2025.
  • In case 66561-09-24, Berg et al. vs. Gruzman et al., the hearing is scheduled for June 9, 2025.

Since all hearings are open to the public, we at the Excelion Victims Board believe that the investors (and victims) of Excelion are the most relevant and preferred audience to attend such hearings.

As they say—coming soon to you!
